The Energy Chamber assesses that the current crime situation and the new measures do not represent any significant additional threat to business or tourist travel.

The Energy Chamber remains committed to ensuring that the Trinidad and Tobago Energy Conference, scheduled for February 10–12, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port of Spain, proceeds safely. The state of emergency does not restrict public gatherings or business operations, allowing the conference to continue in a secure and organized manner.
